A Chinese Evergreen is one of the best low light plants available. It is an attractive table or floor plant that is easy to care for and will even clean the air of harmful chemicals. The soil needs to be kept on the dry side and temperature should not go below 55 degrees to keep this lovely plant looking it's best. LIGHT AND TEMPERATURE: Does not withstand cold temperatures, keep well away from doors and windows in the winter. Prefers warm temperatures. Dark green varieties may be grown in very low light situations, those varities with white or yellow variagation will need alittle more light. WATER: Water moderately and then wait for top few inches of soil to dry between waterings. FERTILIZER: Regularly during spring and summer months. |
